We are delighted to announce that ABS Associates has recently been honored as a 2011 Annual Awards for Business Excellence (AABE) recipient in the Mid-sized Business category. The AABEs highlight successful suburban Illinois businesses and organizations and honor the people who make them successful. For more than two decades, The Business Ledger has recognized suburban companies, business organizations and non-profits, who are leaders in industry innovation and community endeavors.
An awards presentation and recognition reception was held at the Danada House, Wheaton, IL on March 16th, 2011. Rosemarie Mitchell, co-founder and CEO, accepted the AABE. "I feel especially privileged to accept this award on behalf of all of our talented and dedicated employees who directly contributed to the success of our organization. They work literally around the clock to deliver extraordinary service to our clients."

The results are in! Nearly 71% of our major clients responded to a satisfaction survey with scores for all categories reaching 90% and above! ABS is pleased to announce it has renewed its key partnership with Microsoft and achieved Silver status with a core competency on the server side. One of the main distinctions of the Gold versus Silver status is the software sales requirement. Since ABS is a service organization, it remains vendor independent and sells no products.
"Because we're not in the business of procurement we are able to maintain an unbiased position of recommending the best technology for each unique client," says Raja Bhatthal, Director of Consulting and Networking Services. "Even though we can't deny the essential role that Microsoft products play in what we do, our organization will remain service focused and operate independently of the reseller motive which is why our clients have trusted us with their most valued intellectual assets for the last three decades."
This year Microsoft added to its list of challenging requirements including client references, sales and licensing assessments as well as relevant server exams for ABS's MCPs to ensure strategic personnel at ABS were current with Microsoft's latest network enhancements and features. New product training was also a prerequisite with a focus on Windows Server 2008 R2.
