ABS is Moving!

ABS Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that it will be moving to new offices at the Schaumburg Corporate Center as of October 1, 2011. The new facility is conveniently located at the junction of interstates 90 and 290 in Schaumburg, approximately two miles from ABS's former location. The building contains state of the art meeting rooms, a fitness center, on-site security, and fully appointed lobby. As Bob Koch, ABS's President and CFO, noted, "When we considered the commercial real estate opportunities earlier this year, the Schaumburg Corporate Center offered hands down the most attractive advantages for a growing organization such as ours. In addition it is a class A, well maintained building. We encourage anyone who does business with ABS to pay us a visit and check out our new headquarters as soon as the paint dries."

ABS Welcomes Schimenti Construction

Schimenti Construction is one of the newest companies to join the ABS family of help desk clients. The Connecticut-based firm recently signed a multi-year help desk outsourcing agreement, under which ABS will furnish Remote Level 1 and Level 2 Help Desk support to Schimenti's employees.

Schimenti Construction, headquartered in Ridgefield, CT with offices in New York City, has built a strong reputation in the retail construction industry and has developed a solid niche in urban construction. The firm builds retail-shopping environments for some of the nation's leading retailers including Hollister, TJ Maxx, Kohl's, Best Buy, Fossil, Barnes & Noble, Target, T-Mobile, and Bed Bath & Beyond.

ABS Supports IIT Stuart School at Annual Fundraising Luncheon

Earlier this month, ABS executives and managers joined hundreds of Chicago area professionals in attending the IIT Stuart Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. The event, sponsored by Power Construction Company, celebrated their 25 years of support for IIT Stuart School of Business and also recognized ABS's CEO Rosemarie Mitchell for her continued role as Chair of Stuart's Board of Overseers. Each year, the luncheon generates funds for the School's cutting edge research and the education of tomorrow's strategically competitive global innovators. This year, in addition to speeches by IIT's Dean Harvey Kahalas and Power Construction's CEO and President Jeff Karp, the Company's Chairman Al Gorman thanked attendees for their years of generous financial support and commitment to the luncheon and IIT Stuart's School of Business.
