Rolling Meadows, IL — ABS Associates was recently selected by a California specialty beverage firm to furnish comprehensive Level 2 support services to its employees. The new agreement follows ABS' successful completion of an eight-week roll-over project, with subsequent remote Level 2 support provided to the client's work force, dispersed throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. ABS' capabilities offer the beverage company's 1,000 users access to IT professionals who can take remote control of their computers and perform a myriad of functions as if physically present at the deskside. In addition to PCs, the contract incorporates support for wireless handhelds, including TREOs.
As part of the new agreement, ABS also will render help desk services through ABShelp, its state-of-the-art, web-enabled help center. ABShelp™ allows end-users to submit service requests via the web, e-mail, text chat, and telephone from anywhere at any time — a key feature for the West Coast firm because it requires coverage throughout primary working hours in all time zones. Combined, ABShelp™ and ABS' remote services extend a more cost effective support option that allows the beverage company to maximize efficiency.
