Rolling Meadows, IL — ABS Associates, Inc., a provider of outsourced helpdesk, desktop, managed hosting, and network support and services, today announced the addition of Robert Weaver to its sales team. As ABS' new Client Relationship Manager, Weaver will focus on deepening the partnerships formed between ABS and its clients.
"Bob is returning to ABS after expanding his sales experience at other organizations. He excelled as our Account Manager in the late 1990s, and we are delighted he has decided to rejoin our growing team," said ABS Chief Executive Officer Rosemarie Mitchell. "With his impressive history of sales success, Bob is sure to positively affect our clients and the solutions we provide to them."
Robert Weaver joins ABS from Insight, Inc., a technology solutions provider servicing Fortune 500 companies, value-added resellers, and other major organizations. During his tenure with Insight, Weaver designed and implemented sales strategies for target accounts, vertical markets, and large territory accounts, resulting in more than $2 million in annual service sales to new clients. He also developed three new service offerings, which accounted for more than $1 million in annual sales. In addition to his Account Manager role at ABS in the late 1990s, Weaver also has held sales management positions at Bell Atlantic and Digital Equipment Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from North Central College.
