ABShelp Integrates with Northwestern Mutual's Help Desk
June 18, 2002
Rolling Meadows, IL – ABS Associates, Inc. has recently been selected by Northwestern Mutual to deliver Level One phone support to its employees without altering the company's current help desk environment. Though ABShelp, a web-enabled help center, includes its own tracking tool, a customized service was implemented using Northwestern Mutual's in-house system to manage all Microsoft application related assistance requests. These calls are fielded by a staff of knowledge center professionals located off-site at ABS' Rolling Meadows headquarters.
The discovery, design, planning, and implementation of this service were thoroughly mapped out in accordance with Northwestern Mutual's specifications to ensure a seamless transition. In addition, call volume reviews will allow Northwestern Mutual to maintain its high level of service as the company grows.
"At Northwestern Mutual we are integrating ABShelp Services with their internal help desk to handle non-proprietary application support such as MS Office," said Bill Barron, ABS' Account Manager. "The outsourcing of these public applications enables Northwestern Mutual to focus its internal resources on core business issues and provide the most efficient support possible to employees. ABShelp complements Northwestern Mutual's 'packaged' software, thus creating a very productive and cost effective help desk environment."
