Under the new agreement, ABS will represent and resell TeamTrack products as well as provide "on-demand" hosted services for Serena's customers. According to both firms, the "on-demand" or dedicated, hosting services offered through the partnership are ideal for companies with a limited capital budget and a tight timeframe for application implementation.

As part of its hosted service offering, ABS will supply the required infrastructure, install the Serena TeamTrack application and operating system, establish and test connectivity, and keep the entire operation running smoothly.

Located in a massive concrete and steel building, the ABS host site offers multiple redundant switches along with Department of Defense-level security to provide maximum protection of data. With no IT requirements for hardware, configuration and maintenance, customers of the on-demand solution are assured rapid implementation. Because the service is hosted, there are small monthly fees that can be expensed rather than large, upfront capital expenditures.
