ABS Hits the Big Apple for the Stevie Awards
July 13, 2011
Rolling Meadows, IL – As a Stevie Awards finalist in two categories, ABS made its presence known at the gala occasion which was held in New York City on June 20th. The event, which took place at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in the heart of Manhattan, drew upwards of 600 attendees from the international business community and included nominees for more than 40 awards categories.
ABS was selected as a finalist in two categories: The first was for Customer Service Team of the Year which recognized the ABShelp™ Global Knowledge Center Team for its level of expertise among a mutually supportive and highly communicative group. The second category for the Information Technology Executive of the Year acknowledged Thomas Mitchell, the co-founder of ABS, largely for integrating new technology with the company's expanding solutions.
Bob Koch, President and CFO of ABS, represented the organization at the event. "I was thrilled for the opportunity to spread the word about ABS's successes at such an illustrious forum as the Stevie Awards," says Koch. "Just to be counted among such IT industry giants as Microsoft and Dell was flattering enough, but to be acknowledged as a finalist in the technology and service arenas was an exciting experience."
